These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Elder IT Services ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of our website and the IT support and consulting services we provide. By scheduling, requesting, or receiving services from us, you agree to these Terms.
If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization (such as a church or community group), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Elder IT Services provides technology support and consulting services primarily to churches, senior community organizations, and individual customers. Services may include, but are not limited to:
The specific scope of services will be agreed upon before work begins. We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion.
Services may be scheduled through our website booking page or by contacting us directly. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred time. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee or refusal of future scheduling.
For services billed by the hour, payment is due at the conclusion of the support session. If a client organization (such as a church) is responsible for payment on behalf of an individual customer, an invoice will be issued on the 1st of the following month reflecting all services rendered during the prior month. Payment is due within 15 days of the invoice date.
Subscription-based service plans are billed monthly. Payment is due on the 1st of each month. Failure to pay by the due date may result in suspension of services until the account is brought current.
We currently accept cash, check, and Zelle. Additional payment methods (such as PayPal) may be added in the future and will be reflected on our website and invoices.
Invoices not paid within 15 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee. We reserve the right to suspend services on accounts with outstanding balances.
We make every reasonable effort to resolve technical issues. However, not all problems can be fully resolved, and we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. If we are unable to fully resolve your issue, you will still be charged for the time and effort spent on the service attempt.
We will inform you as early as reasonably possible if we believe an issue is beyond our ability to resolve, so you can make an informed decision about how to proceed.
IT service work carries an inherent risk of data loss, including during repairs, upgrades, virus removal, or system restoration. We strongly recommend that you back up all important data before any service appointment. Elder IT Services is not responsible for any loss of data, files, or software that occurs during or as a result of our services, even if such loss results from our actions.
At this time, we do not offer a formal warranty on services rendered. If you experience a recurrence of the same issue shortly after a service visit, please contact us and we will work with you in good faith to address it. Any follow-up work will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Note: This section may be updated in the future as our warranty policy is formalized.
At present, all services are performed directly by Elder IT Services. We may in the future refer certain work to trusted third-party technicians if a situation is outside our expertise. If a referral or subcontractor arrangement is ever used, we will inform you in advance. We are not responsible for the work, conduct, or outcomes of any third-party service providers.
To help us serve you effectively, you agree to:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elder IT Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services or your use of our website. Our total liability for any claim arising from services rendered shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time with reasonable notice. If you terminate a subscription mid-month, you will not be entitled to a refund for the remainder of that billing period. We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if a client engages in abusive, threatening, or unlawful behavior.
Our website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate service scheduling. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, or use the site for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to update or discontinue the website at any time without notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Elder IT Services operates. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
